The name Laguna, Spanish for "lake", was inspired by how we once described oil extraction to our Spanish-speaking relatives: "There's a lake of oil beneath our feet, and we stick a straw down to reach it." That simple explanation became a lasting part of our story.
In 2014, while running a successful oilfield services company, we ventured into real estate, starting with rental properties and fix-and-flips. What began as a side project quickly grew into a deep passion. By 2016, that passion led us to sell the oil business and fully dedicate ourselves to homebuilding.
